Emily & Anthony - Oct '24

Emily and Anthony chose a beautiful October Wednesday to get married which was the perfect intimate day they had wished for.

The couple opted to have their whole day at Curds Hall Barn starting with their beautiful ceremony, followed by dining and finishing off with an amazing party in the evening. October is a spectacular month for a barn wedding, with the natural beauty of autumn surrounding the venue. Our barn, adorned with seasonal flowers, pumpkins, and candles, felt like a cosy retreat from the outside world.

The Main Barn was prepared for the ceremony with swathes of dark green and white fabrics draped from the chairs and signing table, a giant floral arch backdrop and flickering candles. The dark greens with pops of white reflected the season with the rich dark greens, rusty oranges and warm golden yellows.

With the ceremony complete it was time for guests to head outside for a glass of fizz but not before the all important confetti photograph on the rear steps. With it being dry guests stayed outside during the drinks reception which meant Gina had an excellent opportunity to get some beautiful photos against the barn and grain store. We’re extremely lucky at Curds Hall Barn with all the land we have around us. It makes a photographers life easy when they’ve got acres and acres of spaces to work with!

It was finally time for guests to take their seats in the beautifully decorated Woodshed. Penny from Synched Events had created some beautiful draping in the room with a green and white theme going on throughout. The couple chose a two course sit down meal which was prepared and served by the lovely team at B and R Dining. Following the meal it was time for the speeches to commence and there were some lovely words said about our amazing couple!

With evening guests arriving it was time for the cake cut and first dance to commence! With DJ Paul Allen playing this first set it was clear this group was up for a party! While the cocktails were flowing from the bar, B and R were serving pizza around the barn to guests who needed a little late night top up. Emily and Anthony had created a giant cross word for guests to tackle during the evening and it went down a treat with those taking a break from all the dancing!

Emily and Anthony you’ve been such a joy to work with over your planning journey and we wish you all the best with married life! xx
