Katy & Craig - Sep '24

Katy & Craig were our first wedding of September and it was easy to say autumn was definitely on its way.

There’s something undeniably magical about a September wedding in the countryside. The air still carries the warmth of summer, yet the gentle signs of autumn are starting to show, creating a perfect balance for an unforgettable celebration. Katy & Craig had decorated the barn beautifully to really suit the time of year. With beautiful blue drapes and disco balls hanging above it was a real mix of elegance and party vibes!

If you’re planning your big day in this serene setting, September's warm weather can provide the ideal backdrop for a rustic, yet elegant, countryside wedding. Here’s why this month, paired with the stunning countryside, makes for a picture-perfect celebration.

At Curds Hall Barn we are blessed with acres of outside spaces for our couples to use. Why not embrace the countryside’s relaxed vibe by incorporating fun activities into your wedding? Lawn games like Jenga and crazy golf can keep guests entertained during your drinks reception.

Katy & Craig chose to have BBQ sharing boards for their main food and these went down a treat with their guests. A choice of chicken, fish, pork and halloumi cheese was quickly disappearing which means it went down a treat! A lemon tart for dessert was the perfect palate cleanser.

After the dining had finished it was time for Katy & Craig to get some photos together out in the grounds. With such a stunning backdrop, your wedding photos will naturally stand out at Curds Hall Barn. The warm September light is perfect for those romantic, glowing shots that every couple dreams of. Make sure to take advantage of the natural beauty around you: fields of golden wheat and even rustic barns make perfect photo spots.

With evening guests arriving it was time for the music and party to begin. Katy and Craig had B and R dining provide an amazing grazing table for their evening food. The great thing about having two separate rooms at the venue is that your evening food can be served in one room which allows guests to take a seat and a break from dancing to enjoy the delicious food which fuelled guests ready for more dance moves on the dance floor!

It was a pleasure to plan your day for you both and you have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Thank you so much for choosing CHB to be a part of your big day xx
